A Candle Wick
A guy and a girl were both sitting at a round wooden table.
As they sat their on their stools. They were both inspecting candles.
Three candles were sitting on the wooden table that were prior place by the girl.
One of these candles had wax all around it, making it hard to get to the wick.
It was thick with multiple different colors of wax dripped around it.
The other two candles were red sitting calmly on the table.
They were all set in an old school candle holder.
Kind of like what you see at Hanukkah but only with three spots.
The guy picks up his candle which is covered with wax.
He grabs his own lighter and starts burning the wax from the candle.
The girl sits and watches him but doesn't pick up her candle.
But then... who is the third candle? And why are they not at the table?
The guy starts joking around with the girl.
They both were physically laughing and having a good time.
However, his face showed a bit of discomfort with burning his candle.
He was trying to get the wax but the accumulation was heavy.
She didn't say anything about his candle.
She didn't acknowledge that he was trying to burn the wax off.
He just made jokes however, some of them were in a different language.
She just couldn't understand those ones so she would slightly laugh.
But who is the third candle at the table?
And why is their wax on his candle but not hers....
Also, where is the third person?
This was unconcluded.
However, with his frustration he puts the candle down.
Walks away with the lighter.
since he failed to light his candle, the other two were never touched.
Yet, he leaves on an upbeat note despite the girl..
Who is clearly sitting at the table disappointed.
She sat and questioned
"Why does this extra candle keep following me to every table I set?"
