A Walk Through Hell

The scortching hot desert sun was beating on a line of marathon runners.
While these individuals were trying to run, they kept getting slowed down by small scorpions that were attaching the their shoelaces.
Every few seconds the contestants had to grab the scorpions and throw them off.

But, this wasn't their only enemy as there was also wasp that would attach to their skin.
Each person had to grab these wasp prior to being stung.
Two different stinger enemies while dealing with the man himself, the sun.

One of these contestants was an older woman, she was one of those scary looking witch types.
The kind of witches you'd see in a cliche movie sterotype.
Big nose, weird veil, and a myserious but kind of creepy demeanour.
She runs next to one of the other contestants.

A younger woman who is slightly strongly to keep herself in the game.
She was a bit strange looking but not in a "ugly way" but more so, her aura was a bit unpredictable.
She's naturally pretty but not overly model type.
She was also a bit reserved and silent.
The older woman glances and leans her head in towards the younger one..

"Be careful of the wasp and scorpions, they more that are attaching to you... The more they symbolize how many people are truly out to get you. I understand why you are struggling but I can only tell you this. You must cleanse. Cleanse and remove the anxiety of a sudden sting." She nods at the younger woman.

"It is quite ironic that someone like you would offer such advice when I can clearly see that you are the one who is controlling these scorpions and wasp. I guess the idea of "keep your friends close but your enemies closer" was your first mistake. A real magician knows that it is actually the slight of hand that keeps the illusion, you showed me the wrong side." She smirked slightly pushing the older women directly into the sand.
